Srow Zar Sewing Schools
Our first sewing school was initiated in 2019. It has been teaching between 300 to 400 women ages 12 to 50 to learn various sewing skills as well as embroidering and clothing design/pattern making. The school also teaches basic reading and writing skills in Pashto and Dari. Through these activities, it is hoped that participating women will be empowered to take initiatives, develop new ideas, develop the confidence and ability to determine their own choices, and ultimately pass on their knowledge to the future generations.
Fundamentally at the completion of their program, each student will be equipped with lifetime skills and can ultimately start their own business that cater for their own needs.
Every student walks out with lifetime skills, ultimately starting their own business to cater for their own needs.
Every donation you make towards this project allows us to get one extra person out of poverty and support their own family.
